Today in Spanish class we covered…

A Note on Gustar

Gustar always needs the pronoun.

  • Dan le gusta comer.

 

Tomar vs Coger

Tomar (to take) is synonymous with coger (to catch). Coger is used in Spain, but in South America coger has a rude meaning and isn’t generally used when talking about catching buses, etc.
